UK Liquidators provides expert guidance and advice to company directors whose companies are facing financial peril and the prospect of insolvency. We have offices across the country and help people nationwide to understand fully their options with regard to all forms of insolvency or liquidation.

We have several offices in close proximity to Bromsgrove in Worcestershire and if you’re based in or close to the town and in need of advice then we will be happy to hear from you. You can arrange a FREE and confidential consultation any time simply by calling your nearest UK Liquidators office.

We have bases in Worcester, Birmingham, Northampton and Hereford. Each of these offices are staffed with very experienced professionals and insolvency practitioners with a huge wealth of experience in the field. We can help whatever your situation might be, including if it’s possible to turn your business around without the need for entry into liquidation or any form of insolvency.

In the UK, the most commonplace form of liquidation is compulsory liquidation resulting from the pursuit of a winding up petition on the part of a company’s creditors. This scenario precipitates an inquiry by the Official Receiver and is generally best avoided where possible. An alternative is what’s called Creditor’s Voluntary Liquidation (CVL), whereby a company director takes their own business into liquidation on a voluntary basis. A CVL has the advantage of leaving control over the situation in the hands of directors themselves rather than their creditors.

A further form of liquidation commonly used in the UK is called a Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), which is a means of liquidating a solvent business in a tax efficient fashion.

If you’re based in or close to Bromsgrove and in need of advice on insolvency or liquidation then UK Liquidators can help. Contact us any time to discuss your situation in detail.

Our family-run construction firm had enjoyed a good run since the 1980s but with margins squeezed tighter than ever before and a saturated marketplace, we began to struggle. We also had a key supplier that went bust leaving us with major problems. We decided we needed to liquidate as cash flow was steadily decreasing and creditors were chasing. UKLiquidators handled the CVL and enabled us to write off our debts. They also referred me to a company that would investigate my claim for director redundancy and I was surprised to learn I was eligible for £14,500 which was paid to me within several weeks.

I am the MD of three separate companies within a subsidiary but one business was dragging the other two down. I needed to work out the most tax-efficient way of closing the struggling company but due to the complex nature of our company structure, our accountant was unable to advise. Thankfully, UKLiquidators took control of the situation and we were delighted with the outcome. They allowed me to pay for the liquidation upon completion as I was awaiting a significant director redundancy payment which both my wife and I were due as managing directors. If it wasn't for UKLiquidators, I wouldn't even have known about director redundancy and they pointed me in the right direction.
